FCC PROPOSES RULES TO HELP CONSUMERS IDENTIFY AND PREVENT “MYSTERY FEES” ON PHONE BILLS, KNOWN AS “CRAMMING”.   Took action to protect Americans from “mystery fees” and “cramming,” which is the illegal placement of an unauthorized fee onto a consumer’s monthly phone bill.
